Rook Chess – Win this Endgame
Play the following endgame as White versus the Computer and win it. You are a rook up but Black has a passed pawn and likes to push it to the first rank to get a queen.
It is your job to stop this pawn and capture it on time. After this you can win with the rook easily and give checkmate to the king sooner or later as you have learned before.
To capture the pawn you need the help of your king. Your rook on its own can achieve nothing. In chess all pieces have to work together like a family, remember?
